The Munich Shanghai Electronics Fair officially kicked off on July 1st-3rd, with connectors becoming a core exhibit section.

The 2026 Munich Shanghai Electronics Fair officially opened on the morning of July 1st at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre, running from July 1st to 3rd. The exhibition area covers 120,000 square meters, bringing together nearly 1,800 domestic and international electronics industry chain companies. The connector zone is a key core section of this year's exhibition.

Following the opening ceremony, leading international interconnect companies such as TE Connectivity, Aptiv, Phoenix Contact, Molex, and Rosenberger, along with leading domestic connector companies such as AVIC Optoelectronics, Elec-Tech International, Yung-Gui Electric, and China Xingkun, showcased their products in the dedicated connector halls W1-W5, exhibiting next-generation innovative products including AI liquid-cooled high-speed interconnects, 800V automotive high-voltage connectors, industrial IP68 waterproof power connections, and automotive optoelectronic hybrid connections.

The International Connector Innovation Forum was held concurrently with the exhibition, focusing on in-depth discussions of three core industry directions: AI computing power high-speed interconnect technology, automotive fiber optic connection solutions, and the research and application of high-performance copper alloy new materials for connectors. The forum brings together OEMs, computing equipment manufacturers, connector manufacturers, material suppliers, and industry experts to share technologies and facilitate business connections on key topics such as connector material innovation, high-speed signal integrity, vehicle-mounted high-voltage reliability, and industry standardization systems, building an efficient communication platform for the entire industry chain.
